I feel as though 2011 is one of those non-existent years.  Maybe not for people born or wed this year, but otherwise speaking, I don’t know that it will have its own identity.  It is technically the beginning of a decade we don’t know how to classify collectively, it may or may not be the penultimate year of the planet, and it will mark the 10-year anniversary of 9/11 (not to mention the dissolution of 98 Degrees).

So what?  Exactly.  Let the good times roll, because no one will remember it otherwise.  And this irrelevant buildup is all to say … welcome to a lyric quiz about years.  Songs about specific years, songs about the passing of the years, songs with “year” in the title, and not one song that addresses 2011.

Got answers?  Send them my way.
